The Jazz Trials

The Jazz Trials is the premier jazz jam session in the Chicago Suburbs! Once a month, some of the top jazzers in the midwest come together to make music and have fun for a great Law Office crowd. This event is ALWAYS NO COVER and often supports local charities through the Celebrity Bar Tender program.

Jazz Trials Mega Jam!

In summer of 2016, Mike Schwebke approached the Law Office Pub and Music Hall about hosting a reoccuring jazz event to bring in both musicians and audience members to the young venue: a jam session. The first Jazz Trials jam was held in July of 2016 and hosted a house jazz quartet and 7 of the areas finest professional jazz players in the jam. Since then, nearly 100 musicians from 3 states have joined in on the jam session.

The Celebrity Bar Tender program was started by former TLO manager Rob G. to help bring in more local patrons and audience members to the Jazz Trials. It started as a simple chance for local bar tenders to earn tips on a night off at their home establishments and has exploded into a sought-after fundraising opportunity for local groups. Since its inception, the Celebrity Bar Tender program has raised approximately $10,000 for organizations like Dare2Tri, Mutual Ground, Kendall County Veterans Fund, Help Save Pets, Dreamers and Doers, CASA Kendall County and even the Yorkville Music Boosters!
